Kate Moss Fashion Frenzy
May 01, 2007

375_moss A nationwide frenzy is expected as a new range of clothing designed by Kate Moss goes on sale in more than 200 high street stores.

More than 1,000 shoppers mobbed Topshop's flagship store in London on Monday night when the supermodel launched The Kate Moss Collection.

Some had queued for eight hours to make sure they got in.

Were you at the London launch, or have you been to one of the other 225 branches selling the new range of clothing?

If the answers 'yes' we'd like to hear about your experiences, or those of friends and colleagues.

Was it a mad experience? Are Kate Moss clothes 'must have' items? Are they value for money? Spare no details!

Did Kate Moss actually design them............ hmmm not sure if she is capable. My daughter certainly won't be buying her so called range. She calls her an all time looser. So I'm glad she sees kATE FOR WHAT SHE IS A POOR PATHETIC HAS BEEN. SHAME SUCH A WASTE OF GREAT BEAUTY AND TALENT?....

So people who do drugs are really good people? I beg to differ. I've never seen a drug addict who is a pillar of society, Kete Moss and her cronies included.

I would defonently want to buy clothes from kate moss range because she is a style icon and has great fashion sense.

Just because she takes drugs doesn't mean she's a bad person, maybe she has a drug problem, no1 thinks of that.

Whatever happened to creating your own style? I wouldn't want to dress like Kate Moss anymore than I would want to dress like Vikki Pollard! I shop for what suits me and I put clothes together to create my own look...might not be fashionable but it works for me. Just enjoy fashion, don't let it rule your life!!

Please follow the logic through to conclusion if you are considering to purchase clothes from a shop representing this person's fashion brand.

You buy the dress and pay the shop. A % of the money passes from the shop to the manufacturer to we will call them "Kate Moss Holdings". Kate is paid her cut for putting her name to the range. She then uses the money to buy drugs to feed her habit and that of her boyfriend. The money goes from her to her dealer to the drug cartel that imports the drugs and back up the food chain to the Drug Lords. The money is then used to fund child prostitution, rackateering, arms and international terrorism.

We can go through life with our heads in the sand or we can stand up and be accountable. People like Kate Moss will only learn when the general public stops lining their palms with silver and supporting their abusive, frivolous and demeaning lives.

A woman who has got true beauty can look good in a old army jumper and jeans with a bit of dirt on her face, look around your local shopping Mall and you will see girls (All of them overweight) trying to squeeze into skin tight jeans and little crop tops, the result rolls of fat and a belly piercing that sort of keeps vanishing and re-appearing into the blubber, dont they ever look in a mirror ? even worse we are treated to a huge rear end complete with a tattoo that would scare the life out of a Maori Warrior, cant these girls get it through their heads KATE MOSS THEY AINT, what happened to all those beautiful girls who used to stop the traffic in the Kings Road, guess they all grew up and got old,but call me a old fart if you like but these modern day clones have a lot to learn.while out shopping for a present for a young member of the family I came across some dolls called BRATS ! (correct me if I am wrong) I thought yep ! that just about sums up some of the modern fashion.

Karen, Leeds, I shop at Primark, I do NOT look just like everyone else, I shop there becuase the clothes are pretty good value for money and allow people who would otherwise not afford it to keep up with trends!!!

But agree that the collection is NOTHING to get excited about!!! I do get more excited about going into Primark!!!

I have no desire to buy Kate Moss's clothes, at no point has she actually taken responsibility for her actions and owned her drug problem. However, she is quite happy to pose in a trendy video trying to make povety history. She is a hypocrite - If she stopped supporting the blood soaked illegal drugs industry she would have more of an effect. Kate Moss and all her celeb friends won't eat meat and only eat organic but are quite happy to shove chemicals up their noses! People like that may jusify themselves by saying they never did it in front of their kids, but just because the kids don't see it doesn't mean it won't effect them all their lives, mentally and emotionally.

I love the range and what it stands for, the critic's can swing in the wind!, at the end of the day, they're not Kate Moss, shame!!...Much love x

All the designs are so last year, so its not even remotely unique in any way. Its already bad enough everyone looks the same because they shop at Primark, but now Topshop has jumped on the bandwagon of dressing us up like clones. And I do have to agree with the critics who have said Kate just copied other designer clothes, this is emphasised by the fact they're all last year's styles. Come on Kate, surely you can do better than that and do something unique!

How quickly we forget about Kate and her drug use that was splashed about in the papers and media so much last year. Children and teenages look up to this person as a role model so why o why are Top Shop supporting her ? I certainly dont want my children to follow in her footsteps and I certainly wont be buying any of her clothing for them.

Kate is nothing but a drug taking minor celebrity that needs a damb good wash ! The fact Top Shop are backing her after her recent shinanigans amazes me.

I've been to the Topshop Oxford Branch this morning expecting lots of girls and hassle but it was nothing of the sort! I tried on and bought some items from the Kate Moss collection peacefully unlike the crazy frenzy there was in London last night!!!

Kate Moss mirrors the epitomy of The Female Programmed Robot that needs to dress like barbie, pout, cover themselves in make up and use their body as a 'get more attention attractor.' Sadly for most females, that is what is important. What about reporting something which is actually true. Instead of reporting, thus promoting the insanity of 'Who looks the sexiest' Thank you.

I really do not understand what all the fuss was about. It is not like the clothes were limited edition and they are going to be in most topshop stores including online. Love The Moss, but just think the clothes that I saw previewed were nothing to special. Good luck to all thosee that did stay outside for 8 hours. I look forward to the mad bidding frenzies on Ebay now!!!

what a load of Kate Tosh! the drug using Kate Mess and her, in my opinion, waste of space junkie boyfriend are the only ones who will gain from this. I bet they are laughing their pants off all the way to the bank with this hype.

Its the media who build these muppets up. why doesnt she give most of her alleged £45M wealth to help fight drug abuse!

and why do you need an email address with a post? Big brother or what!

I think Kate Moss is a disgrace. She is a publicised class A drug taker. If she was not famous she would have had her children taken away from here and she would be in rehab (and not the cool type celeb's go to) or better yet in prison. I can't believe people have bought in to her clothing range. Remember all you people who have purchased from her line (no pun intended), she will get royalties from that so in effect all you have done is feed her habit. And Topshop, you join the list of companies that have put profits in front of public morals.

To Emma in Dublin

I should imagine half the congregation will be in TopShop/MossShop. Should make for some funny photos!

I agree the clothes will still be there in a couple of days time. Same as the playstations. Get a life people.

This is truly pathetic. If some coke head on the street tried to sell you a dress would you buy it? No, but that's basically what she is.

A scrawny, untalented clothes horse who would rather spend her time with that greasy lunatic Doherty shoving drugs into herself than with her daughter.

Shame on you for continuing to line her pockets. I won't be buying any of it, anyway!!!

No way am I buying clothes 'inspired' by Kate Moss. Why would I want to look like a drug-addicted, aging anorexic?

Why is there so much coverage on such a trivial hyped up event. You are all slaves to a fashion business that wants to take your cash (and every season) and tell you how you should look.

Sorry, I didn't go - whole opening scene reminded me of a trip to Amsterdam.

Have a good afternoon.

God no, I have better things to do with my time!!!! I have a life!

I cant believe all the hype over a clothing range. I like clothes as much as the next person but the new Kate Moss range is so overrated. Im sure the clothes are only available to fit girls who are size 6-10. What an insult!!

hhhmm not sure about the collection .. I fear every dog on the street will be wearing her clothes this summer and there is nothing worse than turning up to an event and realisig that ..shock horror ..someone else has the same outfit! Im also doubting Ms Moss's talents as a "designer" .. reckon she's trying to rake in as much cash before her face caves in !
