Beefeater_2This Beefeater at the Tower of London has made history after becoming the first woman to take up the post.

Are you a woman in a man's world? Have you ever had a job that is normally done by men? Or perhaps you're a man in a job normally done by women?

Tell us your stories...

Anne, please get your facts right. Arab women have a lot more rights than you know about so please don't assume that we're all oppressed by our men because we're not!

Chris you are right fifty years ago men coudl kick their wives and children out of their homes cos they were in his name. If you were a woman after marriage in certain careers you were retired off. Your mum has benefited from a lot of these changes as will your daughters if you have any. men in England treated women as possessions with no rights whose behaviour does this remind you of hint..they live in a counrty with lots of sand and oil.

fifty year ago men in this country had rights in abundance but due to the ever changing public perception and certain PM's british males now lie in the bottom of the wooden barrel. i am only nineteen but it doesnt take a genius to see the change

it is about time that a woman has been given the job at the tower of London. We are surposed to be in an equal oppertunities world of today. If a woman can serve in the forces then why cant she become a beefeater at the Tower of London.

No matter what the name "Grace Jones" its all very "Strange"!
